Assessment methods and criteria

Completion (possibility of re-examination)
-A student who has not received a passing grade in a study unit or course is offered at least two (2) opportunities to retake the exam or supplement achievements. Retakes are also counted as the occasions when the student is absent from established opportunities for retakes.
-A student who did not receive a passing grade in a study unit or course, and who did not make the necessary additions within the allotted time or was failed in the course on the basis of retaking the exam, must take the study unit or course again.
Re-examination date
- Submission completions should take place during the three following active study months (flexible solution); 9-12, 1-4

- Late submissions are assessed -1 white word (the individual task)

Raising of grades within a year
-A student has the right to try to raise the grade once for a study unit or course that has been assessed with a passing mark (1–5) within 12 months from the performance date according to the instructions of the university of applied sciences

Assessment criteria, fail (0)

Quantity: the assignments and project work are not completed

Quality: the minimum requirements regarding the contents are not met.
Missed deadlines will be graded -1 (imdividual assignment)

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Satisfactory 1:
One can see that you have read the correct theory and understood the subject. You have been able to use the theory in the assignments and project work. The reflection has a good structure.
Active participation.

Very satisfactory 2:
You use the correct terminology when it comes to the competence goals of the course. You understand the theory and its usefulness in the assignments and project work.
Active participation.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

Goda 3:
You understand the theory and can apply it and different methods in the assignments and project work.
Active participation.

Very good 4:
You can tie the theory to the practice, reflect and implement different methods in the assignments and project work.
Very active participation.

You can contribute with your own application of the theory, relate to a wider context and provide new solutions.
