Objective

The student:
- knows the basics of development work - knows and understands basic research methodological concepts and the research process.
- knows and understands central data collection, analysis and reporting methods and is able to apply them in his/her own field of science and profession.
- can apply and evaluate research ethics in research and development activities.
- can write and argue academically.

- the aspects and significance of the development work and research process for one's own professional field
- basic research methodological concepts
- qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis methods
- scientific reporting
- principles of research ethics
- academic writing and reasoning
