Objective

• The students have knowledge about skin anatomy, the structure and function of the skin and command the basics within skincare
• The students have knowledge about different skin types, skin conditions, skin changes and skin problems
• The students know the impact of the diet on the skin
• The students command knowledge about products, ingredients, active ingredients and labeling on cosmetic products
• The students know and can carry out a skin analysis
• The students are able to do treatments within skincare and beauty care
• The students are able to do manicure and paraffin-bath for the hands
• The students command the coloring of eyelashes and eyebrows
• The students are familiar with the aseptic methods in skin care and follow a good industrial hygiene
• The students are aware of the profession of a cosmetologist and the practical work in the field
• The students can apply, analyze and develop an approach that promotes economic, ecological and social sustainability and consumption for product use and services
