Objective
The student
- understands what a well-functioning slaughter pig farming requires in terms of production control, animal care, production environment and feeding
- can take into account requirements from authorities and processors as well as requests from consumers
- knows how the facilities for slaughter pig farming should be designed with regard to the sustainability of production and the welfare of the animals;
- can optimize sustainable pig farming.
