Objective

The student
- knows principles and regulations regarding the farm's various production and environmental subsidies
- has the ability to analyze the outside world to find the key to new markets
- understands how economic phenomena in society affect agriculture and rural entrepreneurship
- has the ability to apply circular economy in its operations

Content

Basic economic concepts, international agreements and regulations that affect rural companies in Finland
Principles and regulations regarding farm production's various production and environmental financial support
Analysis for a selected industry and insight into how markets and policies affect the industry in question
Application of circular economy in own business
The course is based on several of the global sustainability goals, mainly the goals of Responsible production and consumption as well as Industry, innovation and infrastructure
