Objective

Knowledge and understanding
- Understand the basics of lighting
- Understand the basics of audio technology
- Understand the basics of Woodwork
- Understand the basics of make-up

Skill and ability
- Be able to work as a lighting technician in a stage production
- Be able to plan a simple lightning design for a performance
- Be able to connect all the components necessary for sound mixing
- Be able to plan and prepare the sound design for a performance
- Be familiar with the following makeup styles: neutral make-up, drag queen, drag king, fantasy makeup, wounds, wrinkles and tattoos

Mindset and evaluation ability
- Have realised the importance of safety in the use of electricity
- Be aware of the importance of sound and lighting as theatrical signals
- Be aware of the importance of hygiene in make-up
- Strive to use all visual and aural signals in order to create meaning

Have an understanding of questions of sustainability as they apply to theatre
