Objective

The student
- can use basic methods for examinations and screenings within public health nursing
- can guide and support clients on issues related to sexual health and family planning
- has the skills to plan and implement family and parenting preparation in antenatal classes
- is prepared to provide safe vaccinations for children
- has knowledge of various health promotion work methods and has the skills to use them when meeting the family, the individual, the group and society in change
- has knowledge of basic pedagogy and can plan and implement a teaching session
- can counsel relatives and students
- masters safe drug therapy management
