Objective
The student is familiar with the basics of public health science
The student has knowledge about national and international action plans, as well as strategies related to health promotion and preventive work
The student obtains a deeper knowledge of different types of services within the field of social and health care and within the public, private and third sector
The student understands the principles of health economics and cost-effectiveness
The student has knowledge about the health status and well-being of the population
The student is aware of factors, which have an impact on public health and can prevent risk factors as well as understands the significance of early support at the individual and community level
The student understands the principles of an interprofessional resource promoting work within preventive public health care
