Objective

The student will:
- be able to participate in a multiprofessional team and create a natural caring relationship with the patient by using the patient’s mother tongue on at least a basic level
- communicate with patients and colleagues in Swedish or Finnish. The supervision also gradually shifts from English to Swedish or Finnish
- be able to follow general rules and routines in the working environment
- be able to apply evidence-based knowledge to primary health care and home nursing care
- be able to implement the nursing process in primary health care and home nursing care
- develop respect for the patient´s integrity and autonomy when caring for the patient in a home environment
- be able to employ aseptic working methods in a home environment
- be able to support the patient´s family in their care for the patient
- be able to perform safe drug administration
