Objective
The student:
- Have a basic understanding of how learning and perception can be understood as a bodily process.
- Can identify and describe Rudolf Laban's movement qualities and their application in performing arts.
- Understands the connection between acrobatics, dance and performing arts.
- Can utilise the body's possibilities and spontaneity in movement
- Masters basic movements in acrobatics
- Can develop their own movement materials and improvisation exercises.
- Have the practical skills needed to plan and teach basic movement classes.
- Have an awareness of their own body, its possibilities and limits.
- Can analyse and reflect on their own and others' expressions of movement, and understand their impact on the audience.
- Can adapt teaching methods and movement exercises based on individual needs and group dynamics.
