The student is able to:
- explain the operating principle of feedback systems
- describe the methodology for calculating control constants
- define a PID control function for a process
- calculate the control constants for a PID controller
- control a process
- simulate a controller based on an existing process definition
- choose a method for calculation and assess the need for PID constants
- assess safety-critical approaches to the deployment of a feedback system

Have the knowledge to implement regulatory structures in practice.
Have the knowledge to perform simpler identification experiments.

Master autotuning of PID controllers.
Being able to design and implement advanced control structures.
