• Be able to calculate key figures that describe operational reliability
• Be able to take into account the operational safety aspects that should be taken into account when purchasing new machines

• Be able to perform simulations regarding operational safety

• Be able to choose suitable plant and components for different purposes
• Be able to apply the calculations to real conditions
• Understand the technical and economic connection between energy technology and power plants
