- has evidence-based knowledge of the medical and surgical patient's characteristics and about the treatment of urogenital disorders

- According to national directives, can carry out structured care planning and documentation
- can assess the patient's care needs through adequate clinical and physiological assessments and measurement methods, and can prioritize and document these according to national classification systems
- can account for the physiology and anatomy of the kidney, urinary tract and reproductive system
- can account for and calculate the fluid and electrolyte balance
- has knowledge of man's most common urogenital disease states and their underlying pathophysiology
