Objective

The Student:
- understands the importance of health and can apply a health-promoting approach in work across different ages
- understands the human life cycle (physical, psychological, cognitive, and social development at different ages)
- is familiar with theories and current research on health and can apply them in promotive and preventive care work
- understands the meaning of different levels of prevention and can apply them as a process in health-promoting and preventive work
- can explain the basics of epidemiology and understand the role of health determinants in the health and disease panorama
- can identify health risks in patients and understand the importance of early support at the individual level
- has basic knowledge of adult healthcare, including various screening examinations
- can plan interventions that promote health and functional ability together with individuals/groups in interprofessional teams
- has knowledge of different guidance methods

The written work and the possible opponentship show something out of the ordinary (technical execution, oral presentation, mature reflections, independent working methods).
