The student:
Can, as part of an interprofessional team plan, execute, evaluate, document and report a person-centered/client-centered care in collaboration with the patient and relatives and demonstrate a reflective and ethical approach to care
Has expertise in care work within internal medicine and can account for various health hindrances, health resources, illnesses, examinations and treatments and how different illnesses and complications can be prevented
Masters central evidence-based care methods and can perform clinical examinations, functional measurements and treatments
Can guide the patient
Is familiar with the chain of care
Can plan, execute and evaluate safe medication management
Has knowledge of the central legislation and governing documents in palliative care (and death)
