- can describe how the lymphocytes work in the immune system
- knows what happens during an immunization (infection, vaccination, rhesus immunization, passive immunization)
- master immunological and pathological terminology
- knows about various causes of disease (etiology)
- can describe the acute inflammatory reaction as well as cell and tissue changes in disease
- is familiar with key sources of information in immunology and pathology
- understands the importance of immunology and pathology in health care
