Students:

Serve as specialists in their own fields in a multi-professional team according to a proactive treatment plan

Design, implement and assess comprehensive patient-oriented treatment of symptoms in palliative care and end-of-life care based on evidence

Apply evidence-based information concerning the specific characteristics of various illness classes as part of high quality treatment of symptoms

Broadly apply symptom treatment methods having regard to expected lifetime of the patient, and assess their efficacy

Apply their competence in the death process of an end-of-life patient, with consideration for loved ones
