Objective
Student:
• Can plan, implement and evaluate a project linked to a real problem the client wants to solve
• Can collaborate with the client, can select and apply relevant theories, models and analysis tools to the project
• Can make a convincing presentation to the client at the end of the project
• Can handle aspects of professionalism and confidentiality in the relationship with the client

Autumn 2023. The course starts on 25.10, at 15.00-16.00.

Teaching methods
This course gives you experience of working with a client for a specific project and gives you the opportunity to build your problem solving and creative thinking skills. As part of the project, you will carry out various types of analysis and mapping, or collect other relevant data as a basis for planning the project. The result of this work leads to a report on concrete proposals on how the client can solve the problems presented in the project. The report is presented to the client.
Teaching methods: lectures, project meetings, tutorial sessions and presentation. Smaller projects can be handled by individual students, while larger projects are carried out as team work.

Work:
• Scheduled hours 8-12 h (depending on the project)
• Non-scheduled hours 69-73 h
The scheduled hours consist of project meetings with the client and regular supervision sessions. Participation in these meetings is mandatory.
