Objective

The student:
- has knowledge of different health-promoting working methods and has the skills to use these in the meeting with the family, the individual, the group and the society in change
-has knowledge of working with outreach activities and a resource-strengthening approach as well as identifying and supporting clients/patients in need of special/intensive support
- can make use of key research and screening methods in health care work
- develops his/her abilities to teach and counsel
- has theoretical knowledge to be able to perform postpartum examination after normal delivery
- has readiness to carry out a safe vaccination for children and adults
- knows about environmental health and can work to prevent accidents
- master safe drug management
