Objective

The Student:
- can identify the resources and risks of pupils and students in everyday life and the school community
- has knowledge of the role and tasks of the school counselor and includes a pupil- and student-centered approach
- has knowledge of objectives, central legislation and current governance documents in student and student care work
- can plan, apply and evaluate common and individual working methods that promote, maintain and create conditions for well-being in the school community in inter-professional cooperation

Content

- the professional image of the school counselor from preschool to second stage
- risks and resources in the everyday lives of schoolchildren and teenagers
- prevention and intervention in bullying
- the structure of pupil and student care, governance documents and legislation
- school professionals, actors, and partners
- health promotion and prevention in schools
- cooperation with guardians and other related parties
- student-centered working methods

The student demonstrates superficial competence and basic understanding of the subject
