The curriculum aims to provide students with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of communication management, as well as the skills necessary to successfully lead communication efforts in various types of organizations.

The general leadership courses are conducted in English and the communication module itself in Swedish.

Curriculum Objectives:

The curriculum aims to provide students with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of communication management, as well as the skills required to successfully lead communication efforts in various types of organizations. The general leadership courses are conducted in English, while the communication-specific courses are in Swedish. The following learning objectives are included in the curriculum and applied in the courses and their implementation.

1. Theoretical Understanding:
- Understanding Communication Models: Describe and critically analyze various communication models and theories, and their application in different organizational contexts.
- Strategic Communication: Explain and apply principles of strategic communication within various types of organizations, including businesses, non-profits, and public institutions.

2. Practical Skills:
- Communication Planning: Develop and implement effective communication plans that support the organization’s overall goals and strategies.
- Crisis Communication: Identify potential communication crises and develop strategies to manage them effectively.

3. Analytical Skills:
- Data Analysis and Evaluation: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns.
- Audience Analysis: Conduct audience analyses to better understand and segment different audience groups.

4. Leadership and Collaboration:
- Project Management: Lead communication projects from start to finish, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Teamwork: Work effectively in teams and lead groups to achieve common communication goals.

5. Ethics and Responsibility:
- Ethical Communication: Identify and manage ethical dilemmas in communication management and act in accordance with professional and ethical guidelines.
- Social Responsibility: Understand and apply principles of social responsibility and sustainability in communication strategies.

6. Global Perspective:
- Intercultural Communication: Analyze and manage communication challenges in a global and multicultural context.
- International Trends: Identify and analyze global trends and their impact on communication practices.
